In the first week after its launch, the newly designed Property Details page drove a 42% increase in web leads. This exciting new design update from the Rentals Product Development was released in conjunction with changes to make the page load 50% faster. Together, these improvements provide a greatly enhanced user experience on one of the key page prospective renters use to find a rental on Rentals.com.
Some of the design improvements to the property details page include:
- Moving the contact form into the redesigned photo/map area
- Improving the styling of features such as print, save, and share
- Better organizing the property description and amenities
- Removing unnecessary objects to make the page load faster
As a property manager, the best way to take advantage of this ramp up in lead activity is to make sure that you have email leads enabled for your property listings. When creating or editing your ads, check the “Allow email contact” under Contact Options (shown below). This will enabled the contact form to appear on the Property Details page for your listing.
